A new chapter blossoms at Dior as the House unveils the new Miss Dior Parfum reimagined by Francis Kurkdjian. A timeless scent of youth, Miss Dior has never stopped evolving to resonate beyond its era. For the new iteration, Francis Kurkdjian wants it to embody today&rsquo;s young generation. The master perfumer revisits Miss Dior&rsquo;s magical inception to rewrite the fragrance&rsquo;s floral woody chypre structure, bringing juicy jasmine to the front along with other bright fruity notes.&nbsp;

On the new Miss Dior Parfum&hellip; Christian Dior&rsquo;s enchanting vision for Miss Dior anchors my inspiration of bringing the juicy facet of jasmine to the front of this composition with a vibrant balance between floral and fruity. This approach lends a sense of modernity to the scent, making it daring, fun and chic.
 On the moodboard&hellip; At Dior, I always go back to the roots of the House. It&rsquo;s very important to me to understand the inception of a fragrance. Once I have those indicators of why, where and when, I shut down to curate how I resonate with it. For Miss Dior, a fragrance designed for the young people of its time, I want to translate the attitude of today&rsquo;s young generation with some fun edible notes. They are refreshing, colourful and bright.&nbsp; On the new Jasmine&hellip; I love Jasmine personally, and I always challenge my trusted supplier for such and such facets of it. When I joined Dior, I wanted to refresh my palette of ingredients so I requested something true to both my taste and the House&rsquo;s code. It led to the development of this fruity jasmine in Miss Dior Parfum.&nbsp;

On eternal youth&hellip; For me, it&rsquo;s more about refreshing the expression of youth. Looking at today&rsquo;s younger generation, I see the same spirit I remember from my own younger days or even that of my parents. I still see a paradox of irreverence and depth &mdash; that&rsquo;s where the tension comes from &mdash; but the expressions are different. It&rsquo;s the same way we don&rsquo;t listen to the same music, but the core message remains unchanged &mdash; it&rsquo;s still about breaking the boundaries. Those ideas are eternal.&nbsp;&nbsp; On the dynamics with Dior&hellip; Every day I learn more and more about the heritage of Dior. It&rsquo;s not just about Christian Dior, but also all the creative directors who left lasting artistic identities for the House. I find inspiration in every chapter and translate it with my feelings and vision for Dior.
