A circus act in the kitchen with Alessi
Humour, playfulness and optimism are important in the Marcel Wanders x Alessi collection.
The Dutch designer Marcel wanders was asked to design a limited collection of kitchen accessories for Alessi and the result was the Alessi Circus, a circus-themed set of utensils for the kitchen.
While the design initially only was meant to be cheerful, discerning viewers would know that there is an underlining subtone of "The Efteling's Carnival Festival meets IT" in the works.
Geometric patterns, stripes and polka dots filled these exciting and quirky kitchen tools which include a champagne cooler, nutcracker, candy dispenser and crockery.
With Alessi's fun and eclectic collection adding plenty of entertainment in your own kitchen, there are no Jamie Oliver skills needed anymore to impress your guests.
