Following <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/fashion/fashion-takes-charge-and-contributes-to-coronavirus-global-pandemic">Kering&rsquo;s donation and production</a> of protective gear&nbsp;to healthcare front liners, Gucci is calling its global community to stand together in the fight against novel COVID-19 outbreak.&nbsp;

In support of the&nbsp;World Health Organization (WHO)&nbsp;and the&nbsp;Italian Civil Protection Department, Gucci is bringing the crowdfunding campaigns to its community&rsquo;s (<a href="https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/guccicommunity/">#GucciCommunity</a>) attention on the Internet. Both campaigns focus on the contribution to backing health services with equipment and powering the scientists on developing vaccines, treatments against COVID-19.

&ldquo;This pandemic calls us to an unexpected task, but it is a call to which we respond decisively,&nbsp;advocating the selfless work being carried out by health professionals, doctors and nurses who&nbsp;are working on the front lines to help those affected by the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus,&nbsp;particularly in our home country of Italy and around the world.&rdquo;

For its home country Italy, Gucci dedicated webpage <a href="http://gucci.forfunding.it">gucci.forfunding.it</a>, where donations can be made to Italian National Civil Protection Department. At the same time, #GucciCommunity, who share the value of global solidarity, is invited to play their part by joining Gucci in United Nations Foundation&rsquo;s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund through a Facebook US$10 million matching fundraiser.

The raised fund will be devoted to WHO&rsquo;s lifesaving work across the globe. Starting from today, a donate feature will be available on Gucci Instagram Story whilst Malaysians can visit <a href="https://covid19responsefund.org">WHO site</a>&nbsp;to be a part of this movement.
