Paying homage to its Italian heritage, Nespresso introduces three new limited edition coffee flavours with Casa Nespresso – Variations Italia Amaretti Flavour, Variations Italia Torta di Nocciole Flavour and Il Caffè – where each is inspired by traditional Italian flavours of regional sweet treats, including hazelnut cake and amaretti.
Within this limited range, there are two flavoured options. First is the Variations Italia Amaretti that has almond and vanilla notes is inspired by Amaretti, a traditional Italian biscuit known for an unmistakable bittersweet taste.
For the Variations Italia Torta di Nocciole Flavour, it highlights a cereal taste with notes of toasted hazelnut and vanilla. As for the non-flavoured coffee flavour, Il Café, it takes you to the heart of the Italian espresso experience with Vietnamese and Indonesian washed robustas paired with a hit of flavourful Colombian Arabica.

Wrapping up this Nespresso festive guide, let us share with you one of the easy-to-make and delectable coffee recipes featured in the video that you can try at home with your Nespresso Variations Italia coffee.
Among the three Nespresso coffee recipes (which you can find on Nespresso's official website), we recommend the Torta di Nocciole al Bicerin, a sweet and creamy hazelnut based concoction that will certainly bring warmth and joy to the holiday season.
And here is how you can make it yourself with the help of your Nespresso machine and Nespresso Barista milk frother:
INGREDIENTS:
• Variations Italia Torta di Nocciole Flavour (40ml)
• Dark chocolate (6 squares or 30g)
• Cold full fat cream (160ml)
• Cold semi-skimmed cow’s milk (20ml)
• Fresh hazelnuts (5g)
• Cocoa powder
HOW TO MAKE THEM?
1. Add 6 squares of Dark Chocolate in your Nespresso Barista jug.
2. Pour 60ml of cream and 20ml of milk in the jug.
3. Close the lid, select the “Hot Chocolate” setting.
4. Pour the mixture equally into 2 View Lungo cups or Reveal Lungo glasses.
5. Brew a capsule of Variations Italia Torta di Nocciole Flavour over the mixture and mix.
6. Wash and cool the jug.
7. Pour 100ml of cream in the jug up to the lower level mark.
8. Close the lid and select the “Espresso Con Panna” setting.
9. With a non-metallic spoon, collect and pour the whipped cream on top of the coffee, and sprinkle grated hazelnuts and cocoa powder over it for the perfect finish.
