See who are our favourite halal-certified local beauty brands
More than just beauty products that are allowed under Islamic law, "halal beauty" is the new buzz in beauty industry because of its cruelty-free (means no lives were harmed during the production) and the use of natural ingredient.
With the rising of halal beauty brands from all over the world including FX Cosmetics (UK) and Talent Cosmetic (South Korea), Malaysia is definitely one of the countries that has the best halal beauty brands.
And here's five we are obsessed with now:
Founded by Vivy Yusof, dUCk Cosmetic is the expansion from her other successful homegrown label dUCk Scarves and it is also one of the first homegrown brands to be shelved in Sephora.
dUCk Cosmetics features a complete range of 100% halal cosmetics, including makeup remover, eye palettes, lip cream, lip gloss and lipstick. Plus, all products are also paraben-free!

From velvet matte lip creme to creme liquid lipstick and matte lip glide, Dida For Women is widely known for its lip products, which rival foreign brands, with a more affordable price.
