At Dior, I always go back to the roots of the House. It’s very important to me to understand the inception of a fragrance. Once I have those indicators of why, where and when, I shut down to curate how I resonate with it. For Miss Dior, a fragrance designed for the young people of its time, I want to translate the attitude of today’s young generation with some fun edible notes. They are refreshing, colourful and bright.

I love Jasmine personally, and I always challenge my trusted supplier for such and such facets of it. When I joined Dior, I wanted to refresh my palette of ingredients so I requested something true to both my taste and the House’s code. It led to the development of this fruity jasmine in Miss Dior Parfum.
On eternal youth…
For me, it’s more about refreshing the expression of youth. Looking at today’s younger generation, I see the same spirit I remember from my own younger days or even that of my parents. I still see a paradox of irreverence and depth — that’s where the tension comes from — but the expressions are different. It’s the same way we don’t listen to the same music, but the core message remains unchanged — it’s still about breaking the boundaries. Those ideas are eternal.

Every day I learn more and more about the heritage of Dior. It’s not just about Christian Dior, but also all the creative directors who left lasting artistic identities for the House. I find inspiration in every chapter and translate it with my feelings and vision for Dior.
