Dyson looks back to the future for this new colourway.

Dyson Hair turns seven this year. With Supersonic, Airwrap and Corrale, the haircare brand has been redefining everything we know about hair devices and has not halted the evolution of its technology and artistry. New attachments — from Flyaway Smoother to Coanda smoothing dryer — are introduced to elevate the styling experience; and on every special occasion, Dyson surprises with its new colourways.

In celebration of 25 years in Japan, Dyson accentuates its mastery of colours, materials and finishes with a new colourway, Ceramic Pop. The Dyson Hair trio shies away from the usual cool metallic tone and instead gives a playful spin on its futuristic sensibility. The new palette reveals a harmonious interplay of Blush Pink, Mandarin and Verdigris in a nod to Dyson’s G-Force cyclonic vacuum cleaner, which was first launched in Japan in the 1980s. Hitting a retro note, Dyson’s team completes the design using a precision-applied satin paint topcoat for an unglazed, silky-to-the-touch ceramic finish.

In addition to the devices, the allure of Ceramic Pop is also seen in the presentation case and the attachment line-up including the newest Flyaway Smoother for Supersonic. This multitasker is a hybrid of the Supersonic’s Flyaway attachment and Airwrap’s smoothing brush. It delivers precise styling and tames frizz whilst protecting the mane against heat damage by employing the Coanda effect and intelligent heat control — a feature which also aligns with Airwrap and Corrale. If Dyson understands one thing, it’s that healthy hair never goes out of style.
