While summer is still months away, many luxury fashion houses are already marking their calendars with destination fashion shows. From Pre-Fall 2024 to Cruise 2025, luxury brands have begun teasing exotic and chic locations for their latest collections. With the world as their oyster, fashion's top designers are carefully handpicking their destination fashion shows to honour their newest collections.

Louis Vuitton, Shanghai

Reemphasizing the theme of travel at the luxury fashion house, Louis Vuitton will be jetting off to Asia on April 18 to showcase its Pre-Fall 2024 collection. 

Hosted in the city of Shanghai, LV hopes to honor the brand's long-lasting relationship with China after more than 30 years since the first storefront opened in Beijing in 1992. 

The founder of the brand, Louis Vuitton first made a name for himself back in the 19th century with his original luggage collection of trunks and travel boxes. 

Dior, New York

Following the brand's eye-catching holiday light display at Saks Fifth Avenue, Dior is keeping its claim on New York this year as they plan to host their Pre-Fall 2024 show on April 15 at the Brooklyn Museum. 

The collection is a celebration of the French fashion house's ties to America, especially New York City.

"Celebrating the passion [Dior’s] designer-founder always had for this fascinating American metropolis, this mesmerizing show will be staged in the heart of Brooklyn Museum, reaffirming the symbolic, powerful alliance that unites Dior with this iconic institution,” a spokesperson for LVMH stated.

Max Mara, Venice

Destination fashion show Max Mara Venice 2024

Max Mara intends to unveil its Cruise 2025 on June 11 in one of Italy's most picturesque cities, Venice. The luxury fashion house will take the floating city and make it its own, with details on a precise location still undisclosed.

The destination fashion show is set to overlap with the Pitti Uomo trade show in Florence, showcasing Max Mara's influence during key moments in the fashion industry. 

Ludovic de Saint Sernin, New York

Mark your calendars for Feb. 11 as designer Ludovic de Saint Sernin shakes up the NYFW schedule by showing in New York for the first time. He will present his Fall/Winter 2024 collection at the Starrett-Lehigh Building in Chelsea. 

"[New York City is] a place that’s always held a special place in my heart. It’s always been a hub of inspiration, due to its legacy as a key location in the history of contemporary queer culture and some of today’s defining artistic movements, but also due to the incredible community that has built around the brand in the city," de Saint Sernin wrote in a statement on Instagram. "With this show, I hope to be able to show just how much we appreciate and admire New York and the people that make it what it is."

Chanel, Marseille

Chanel is ready to set sail to the south of France to present their Cruise 2025 collection. Hosting the show in the oldest city of France, Marseille is the quintessential place to showcase and celebrate the culture on the Mediterranean coast. 

Chanel has been known to bring their collections around the world, including past runs in Les Baux-de-Provence, Monte-Carlo, and Los Angeles.
