A series of short films takes centre stage in Saint Laurent’s latest campaign
Inspired by Monsieur Saint Laurent’s favourite read.
Taking inspiration from Marcel Proust’s “In Search of Lost Time”, a beloved book of Monsieur Saint Laurent, the brand launched six short films as part of its latest campaign, directed by Anthony Vaccarello.
Starring Charlotte Gainsbourg, John Waters, Chloë Sevigny, Addison Rae, Joey King, Travis Bennett, and Cooper Koch, “As Time Goes By” reimagines Proust’s narrative with a blend of irony and auteurist sensibility, transformed into a striking visual experience by Nadia Lee Cohen.
Each short film reflects on the recurring themes of Proust’s work—Love, Togetherness, Dreaming, Desire, Time, and Memory—transforming them into cinematic meditations on emotion, framed by the evocative mood of the season.
