For the past decade, Nicolas Ghesquière has captivated the fashion world with his innovative cruise collections for Louis Vuitton, often showcasing them in exotic destinations around the globe. This year, Ghesquière broke new ground by debuting his pre-fall offerings in Shanghai, marking his first show in China.

Collaborating with Chinese artist Sun Yitian, Ghesquière infused his collection with whimsical charm, featuring the artist's cartoon-like animals adorning garments and accessories.

At the heart of Ghesquière's collection lies a fusion of his signature style with renewed creativity that is quirky and joyous. From sporty florals silhouettes to nostalgic nods to his iconic past collections, each piece exudes a sense of assuredness amidst a shifting fashion landscape. Notably, Ghesquière's exploration of skirts, juxtaposed with his mastery of pants, highlights his versatility and willingness to evolve.

The collection's finale, featuring voluminous bubble dresses, showcases Ghesquière's ability to balance drama with elegance. While scaling back on prints and embellishments, he delivers a striking silhouette that speaks volumes.
