Like Gucci's many past shows, Alessandro Michele has once again chosen a iconic cultural landmark as its venue.
The past included the Westminster Abbey in London in 2016, and the Palatina Gallery in Florence’s Palazzo Pitti last May (where we shot our latest cover).
For those of you who have yet step foot into Arles, it is actually the largest municipality in France, located on the Mediterranean coast, between Marseille and Montpellier.
And Les Alyscamps is an ancient cemetery site filled with wonders that hosts the final resting place of St. Trophimus and also a place where Vincent van Gogh and Paul Gauguin had painted side by side before.
And like its previous shows, this coming Gucci Cruise 2019 show also marks the first time ever that Alyscamps is to host such a huge event.
And we can't wait to be there to witness it all. Just six more months to go!
