Shalom Harlow leads new league of supermodels in Versace SS19 campaign
Versace's love affair with supermodels is never a secret to fashion lovers since the days of Gianni Versace (who is credited for the birth of the 90s supermodels) — and its Spring/Summer 2019 campaign is yet another testament to that.
Mirroring the cast of its Spring/Summer 2019 show, Versace has gathered some of the hottest names in the industry right now (think Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk, Imaan Hammam and Adut Akech) and enlisted Steven Meisel to create a series of portraits of the perfect "Versace family".
And if it isn't enough of a blast to the glorious past, where the campaign is inspired by the house's S/S 1993 campaign by legendary fashion photographer Richard Avedon, it also features one of the original '90s supermodel: Shalom Harlow.
