Tommy Hilfiger's latest collaboration with streetwear innovators CLOT sets the stage for a Lunar New Year collection that heralds the Year of the Dragon in style.
As a part of CLOT’s 20th-anniversary celebration, the Tommy x CLOT collaboration is a dynamic fusion of Tommy Hilfiger’s Classic American Cool aesthetic and the bold energy of Chinese youth culture evident in CLOT's DNA. The collection was first previews at Shanghai Fashion Week last October and is set to drop globally on 11th January 2024.

The 23-piece collection draws from the archives of Tommy Hilfiger, skillfully remixing iconic pieces with the contemporary edge of Asian youth culture as a vibrant tribute to the Year of the Dragon, which is often associated with strength, prosperity, power, and success.
Tommy Hilfiger says in its press statement, “This is a collection for those celebrating the Year of the Dragon all around the globe. A colourful and lively tribute to the creative spirit that’s sparked when different cultures come together and push each other forward.”
Edison Chen, inspired by American hip-hop culture, reflects on his childhood dreams, saying, “I wanted to be part of that. I am so thrilled to lend our culture to this collection, putting its spirit and meaning into the design. The most interesting part was communicating the feeling of the dragon, its power and success, in a way that is true.”
The campaign accompanying the collection captures the essence of community, belonging, and optimism synonymous with Lunar New Year celebrations worldwide. Set against the backdrop of New York, the chosen family, where we see a mix of age, race and gender, in the campaign forges new traditions, symbolizing that family can be anyone you hold close.
