Topshop’s Design Director, Anthony Cuthbertson brings back the most in-demand IDOL collection to regenerate your wardrobe for this Spring Summer 2020.

The&nbsp;Topshop&nbsp;IDOL&nbsp;collection is back and nowhere to&nbsp;give&nbsp;classic femininity a grungy edge with statement beadwork, heavy broderie and high shine finishing&nbsp;on simple silhouettes, all inspired by Baz Luhrmann&rsquo;s Romeo and Juliet.

Based on the movie that starred Leonardo DiCaprio and the idea of him finding his love of gang culture. The design has taken inspiration from the fabrications seen in the film as well.

This capsule collection&nbsp;is not only inspired by the movie but it is&nbsp;taking the aesthetics of the &lsquo;70s and &lsquo;80s to incorporate different cultural periods for a vintage vibe.

To enhance the distinctive spring/summer drop, the fabrics&#39; choice in this collection will be&nbsp;new satins, devor&eacute;, amazing printed jacquard in gold, and chiffons with printed design. The designer chooses the light colouration, with cream and ivory pieces, and integrated with the pops of colour within the sophisticated prints.
