Valentino Garavani Roman Stud, the bag that reignites the love for Rockstud
Continuing the story of "Mastery Tales", a series created to showcase the most iconic Valentino items within its collection, Maison Valentino presents the second chapter of the saga which is dedicated to the Valentino Garavani Roman Stud top handle bag.
First introduced by creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli at the Valentino Spring/Summer 2021 collection, the Roman Stud is a new interpretation and ultimate interpretation of the Rockstud family. The new design sees the iconic stud evolving into an enlarged look decorated on the top handle bag silhouette.
Crafted in soft nappa leather with a macro-quilted design with maxi studs, the Valentino Garavani Roman Stud brings back the much-loved romantic punk attitude of the Rockstud family, while highlighting Valentino’s craftmanship tradition and care for detail.
On the creation process of the man, each of them is carefully crafted with 5 hours of work and over a meter of leather to be produced. The leather used is also specially treated and ironed to give a soft finishing touch with a unique brightness.
The 28 studs decorated on the bag and leather strap are applied by hand one by one, further showcasing the Maison's excellence for detail and craftsmanship.
This year also marks the 10th anniversary of the iconic Valentino Garavani Rockstud accessories, which in turn makes the birth of the Valentino Garavani Roman Stud is worthy celebration to revive and showcase the timeless and contemporary aesthetic of the Rockstud.
Alongside the launch of the Roman Stud collection, Maison Valentino has also unveiled its newest digital shopping experience – the "My V Experience" – in Malaysia, where patrons of the brand can now have digital access to the universe of Valentino, where they can discover the complete selection of items available in the Valentino flagship boutique in Pavilion KL.
And from the virtual access of "My V Experience", which can be accessed via smartphone or PC, from anywhere at any time, customers will be able to continue their experience via WhatsApp or direct call with the sales associate of their store of preference.
From there, they are able to choose and style their own favoured items; and finally, proceed with their purchase in-store at Pavilion KL or have them delivered to the customer's doorstep.
