Swarovski wants you to spread your wings with Metamorphosis
A celebration of self-expression and transformation, Swarovski's latest "Metamorphosis" campaign highlights a collection inspired by tropical flora and fauna.
When it comes to dazzling jewellery, there's no other atelier that does it quite like Swarovski, who continues to amaze us with intricate and mesmerising collections - this time, inspired by tropical flora and fauna.
Conceived by Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert and captured by renowned photographer Steven Meisel, Swarovski presents the Metamorphosis campaign, a celebration of joyful self-expression and the transformative power of crystals through designs centred around captivating tropical motifs like butterflies, parrots, pineapples and turtles.
And standing as the star of the campaign is the Florere collection and Idyllia collection, which consist of jewellery that draws inspiration from the fluttering majesty of fluttering butterflies and colourful flora.
Bringing extravagance, fantasy and elegance into the picture, the collection takes its cue from the
magical garden rooms created by Empress Maria-Theresa at Vienna’s Schönbrunn Palace in the
Eighteenth Century, where an abundance of delicate and rare flora and fauna dances in wonder.
“Maria-Theresa’s garden rooms are populated from her dreams. They are fantastical spaces painted with murals of exotic flora and fauna from around the globe that would never naturally share the same habitat. In the same way, I wanted to create an enchanted crystal garden that does not exist in nature but still brings the same joy.” said Giovanna Engelbert, Swarovski's Creative Director.
The Florere collection centres around a flurry of colourful flora-shaped crystal jewellery designed to come alive under dazzling lights, making it the perfect jewellery to capture the attention in any given occasion.
Using both pink and yellow crystals, the jewellery, including pendant necklaces, stud earrings and cocktail rings, brings colour and sparks joy to showcase a delicate, yet fashionable look that befits the charismatic and independent Swarovski woman.

Along with the abundance of flora design, Swarovski also presents the Idyllia collection which focuses on the ever-enchanting silhouettes of butterflies to create its designs.
Transforming the majestic butterflies into intricate jewellery like necklaces, earrings and even body jewel sets, the designs are created to make a statement to showcase the wearer's own unique style.
Through a curated selection of multi-coloured crystals, the butterflies are portrayed to give a lifelike silhouette that dances in the presence of light, creating a visual fest to the eyes of the beholder.
