The Origin

This season, we take a plunge with Stephen Webster, as the jeweller takes us into the mythical world of Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne, for a precious journey into the vast ocean.

Named the "Jewels Verne" collection, the designer takes inspiration from the ever-changing world of the deep blue to unveil aquatic-like pieces that play with stones to evoke marine references.

Featuring fantastic creatures that populate the azure expanse and vegetation with intricate volumes, the collection explores the delicate works of glittering fish necklaces, pendants in the shape of prodigious scampi, dangling earrings, and rings with opalescent reflections all the richness of the marine fauna and flora.

The Design

The highlight is the fascinating hammerhead-shaped bracelet, a brilliant tribute to the extraordinary hammerhead shark that fascinates as much as it scares.

Stephen Webster gives it body through an 18-carat white gold bracelet, which is available in three versions – diamonds, rubies and rose gold or sapphire. Hand-made, it features geometric square cut diamonds, which are applied to reproduce the sparkling, beaded skin of the majestic sea creature as it emerges from the water.
