Sandara Park unveils Kate Spade’s global pop-up launch in Singapore
Flying in all the way from South Korea, international artist Sandara Park of K-pop girl group 2NE1 recently graced her presence at ION Orchard, Singapore, for the grand unveiling of Kate Spade New York’s first global pop-up store alongside host and the label’s Global CEO, Anna Bakst.
“We are incredibly proud to debut Kate Spade New York’s first reimagined global pop-up in Singapore’s ION Orchard mall, a leading shopping destination in Southeast Asia. Following the successful opening of our ION store last Fall, we look forward to continuing the momentum and exciting our customers with this new, immersive pop-up experience,” Anna shared.
Also spotted at the exclusive opening party was a slew of famous friends of the brand including Malaysia's very own Juliana Evans, Indonesia’s Jessica Mila and Singapore’s Rebecca Lim, who were all dressed to the nines in some of Kate Spade’s last collection.
The celebration was later brought up to ION sky, where guests mingled and indulged in a free flow of specially crafted Botanist gin cocktails and canapés with DJ Linda Hao spinning some lively and upbeat music throughout the evening.

Inside The Pop-up Space
The 12 square-meter pink-tastic space is the first retail expression designed under the direction of Creative Director, Nicola Glass. Shaped as a newly refined spade silhouette, the entryway highlights the brand’s new sophisticated and eclectic colour palette, further complemented by the transparent exterior walls, gently carpeted interior floor and balloon light fixtures.
Once inside, you will be greeted by a dazzling display of pieces from its Spring 2019 collection, ranging from vibrant ready-to-wears and an assortment of chic bags to stylish leather goods and accessories.
You can also be part of the experience and get your hands on the limited-edition pale gold Amelia Spade Flower medium shoulder bag as well as enjoy the “unlock your heart” feature which allows you to personalise your own luggage Kate Spade tag.
Located at Level 1 of ION Orchard Mall, Singapore, the Kate Spade Spring 2019 pop-up will be open until 24th March 2019.
