Bold and subtle, mischievous and provocative, Chanel’s in-house perfumer-creator Olivier Polge defines the scent as “an interesting combination that is simply hard to describe.” It has the optimism of orange, the clarity of jasmine and rose, and the sensuality of patchouli — but not the ubiquitous accord we would expect. A fractionated patchouli grounds this composition with its purity and richness, interplaying with the freshness without overwhelming.
