badgalriri is back to give us Fenty Beauty's first-ever fragrance

Encapsulated in the utterly chic amber bottle is a unisex scent inspired by Rihanna’s favourite destinations - Barbados, New York, Paris, and Los Angeles. To bring this scent to life, the singer paid a visit to Les Fontaines Parfumées, LVMH’s perfumery in Grasse, where Louis Vuitton’s master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud curated and introduced to her a selection of notes and ingredients that mirror her kaleidoscopic life.

The duo eventually came out with an untamed formula that is “raw, sensual, spice and sweet all at once” with the notes of Magnolia, Tangerine, Musk, Patchouli, Blueberry and Bulgarian rose. And unlike most of the bouquets that take time to warm up and dry down, it reveals the accords as soon as the sprinkles settle on skin.

While this is not the first time the singer and beauty mogul created a fragrance, this could be the one closest to her heart. “Brown is my favourite colour. Brown is who I am. Brown is what I come from,” shares Rihanna on Fenty Eau de Parfum, "If I’m going to make a fragrance that represents me, even the body language of the bottle needs to marry that. So, I wanted something brown, but also transparent – so you could see the liquid and the fragrance you’re about to experience.”
