Chef Darren Teoh founded Dewakan Restaurant, which is located in Shah Alam, in 2015, and the name is actually inspired by Malay words 'Dewa' and 'Makan', which have the meaning of 'god' and 'food'.

Dewakan Restaurant stands out for its translation of ingredients and tastes, where rare and forgotten ingredients from the land, mountain to the sea of Malaysia makes the core of the menu and transformed into delicate, delectable le art on plate.

A big congratulations to the team behind Dewakan for making Malaysia proud and we hope to see more Malaysian establishments to place in the future!
