12 times where BTS served us the perfect fashion statement
Even if you are not a major K-Pop fan, the name BTS (which stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan/방탄소년단) is a name that you've probably heard plenty of times.
Setting multiple ground-breaking records with their Map of the Soul: Persona album (which debuted No. 1 in the on the Billboard 200 chart), BTS is a name not to be scoffed upon. In 2019, they have taken over the music scene with their songs and also been crowned the first band since The Beatles in 1966 to score three chart-toppers in less than a year.
Not to mention other achievements like having the most viewed YouTube video in 24 hours with Boy With Luv feat. Halsey at a staggering 74.6 million views; first K-pop group to address the United Nations; the first K-pop act to hit No. 1 on the Artist 100 chart and more.
Music aside (which they rounded up countless achievements) and in light of the topic #ThisIsBTS which sparked from the recent Grammy 2019 nomination, we decided to celebrate the boy band in a way L'Officiel is familiar with – fashion!
Over the years, this 7-member boy band, consisting of RM, J-Hope, Jin, Jimin, Suga, V and Jungkook, has also made a name for themselves as trendsetters and style connoisseurs with a long list of outfits and costumes that had social media buzzing all year round.
