If there is one party we wished we would be invited to and live in forever, it is definitely a Gucci party, especially the glamourous Gucci Love Parade soirée.
A symposium of bodies where life becomes fashion takes centre stage, the Gucci Love Parade collection takes us to an insiders-only party where Gucci muses, personalities and models (the likes of Deng Lu, Jared Leto, Lee Jung Jae, Miley Cyrus, Liu Wen, Beanie Feldstein and Snoop Dogg) gather in secrecy to engage in a fantastical fashion party where they let loose and be their true enigmatic self.
This parade of the finest luxury, style and indulgence showcases the core aesthetic of the collection - Hollywood glam at its supreme self. Truly a spectacle (as captured in the new advertising campaign).
From Jared Leto spotted drowning in sugar to the dapper Lee Jung Jae lounging with the Gucci 1955 Horsebit bag and Miley Cyrus lifted in the air in seductive Gucci lingerie, the night is brought to life through the unique creative direction of Alessandro Michele, as captured by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
This soiree is where we are allowed to gaze into the inner world of Alessandro, as well as be gazed upon by the cast within, a visual novel in double-time (as phrased in the campaign release).
“I thought about how my mother raised me as a devout worshipper of beauty. About the gift of dreaming, which I cannot go without. About the aura of cinema, which generates mythologies. This is why I chose Hollywood Boulevard”, writes Alessandro Michele to explain this journey to the origins of his life story.
For now, we let you immerse yourself in a world of visual ecstasy brought by the Gucci Love Parade. No words are better than this feast of decadence.
