J.Lo is back as the star of Versace’s latest Spring/Summer 2020 campaign
It was the same iconic Jungle print on the dress that brought Jennifer Lopez and Versace to cult internet viral status, first in 2000 and again in 2019.
And now, the singer dons the print once more in the Italian label’s latest ad campaign for the coming Spring/Summer 2020!
Photographed by renowned duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the campaign is a celebration of the digital era. The internet was, after all, what propelled the dress to viral status, inspiring numerous memes at its wake after Versace’s Spring/Summer 2020 runway.
It features a sultry J.Lo amidst a tech-driven landscape in sculptural printed dresses and jungle-printed separates and also Kendall Jenner, another popular figure made popular by the internet age.
Jennifer says, “In terms of my career, the Jungle dress really marked a moment in time. To me, Versace represents empowerment and putting something beautiful out into the world. It’s a dream to collaborate with my friend Donatella again on this gorgeous campaign and to create something new and fresh out of a piece of iconic fashion history."
