Jeff Koons recreates art with Louis Vuitton
What do you get when you combine two iconic names like Jeff Koons and Louis Vuitton together? Revolutionary work of art is what it is.
Part of its ongoing engagement with art, 2017 is the year where Louis Vuitton finally partners with legendary American artist Jeff Koons to create a special collection of bags and accessories.
While we had a chance to preview it earlier this month, we had to keep our lips sealed – until now!
After weeks of anticipation, we present to you now the Louis Vuitton "Masters" collection created by Jeff Koons. A series of stunning pieces adorned with some of the world's most iconic paintings
Consciously referencing five old masters of art – Leonardo Da Vinci, Vincent Van Gogh, Titian, Peter Paul Rubens and Fragonard –, Jeff Koons and Louis Vuitton took to their hands to recreate masterpieces like the Mona Lisa, A Wheatfield with Cypresses and The Tiger Hunt on bags and accessories.
And instead on raving on and on about the "Masters" collection, we'll let you feast your eyes in the gallery below:

For each of the designs, Jeff Koons also inserts both his and Louis Vuitton signatures like the rabbit icon, the Monogram and the new Jeff Koons x Louis Vuitton logo.
And to finish the collection off with an homage to the artists, selected pieces of the collection will also feature a portrait of the artist, along with the story behind each art pieces – all of which are engraved onto the leather inside.
Set to launch worldwide on 28th April 2017, the Louis Vuitton Masters collection by Jeff Koons will be available at selected Louis Vuitton boutiques including its Starhill Gallery flagship in limited quantities.
