The Chanel 19 bag chains the past and the future in one look
First seen on the Chanel Fall/Winter 2019 collection, which was co-created by Karl Lagerfeld and Virginie Viard, the new Chanel 19 bag holds the many codes of the Parisian heritage house.
From the rare-to-find N°19 fragrance to Coco Chanel's birthday on 19 August and now, the Chanel 19 for 2019, the two digits play a significant role for the house of Chanel. It inherits the classic elements of its senior, the legendary 2.55 bag, introduced to the world by Mademoiselle Chanel in February 1955.
Born during the breaking of a new dawn for Chanel, the Chanel 19 bag delivers a new force of soft power and feminine accents with an ultra-supple structure conjured on leather and tweed. The altered length of the metal chain allows you to play with the bag, and it also comes with a belt bag design!
And after its debut range in a timeless palette, the 2019/20 Cruise Collection delivers more daring plays on colours.
