Moschino turns fashion into furniture
We all love its quirkiness in fashion and now Moschino has turned its iconic fashion pieces into a capsule collection of furniture, titled "Moschino kisses Gufram".
Scheduled to make its debut at Milan Design Week 2017, Moschino has partnered with Italian furniture and home manufacturer Gufram to reinterpret the fashion label's iconic masterpieces into home furniture.
To lead this capsule collection, the star item is the scarlet red "Zipped Lips" sofa, which is a special edition of the Bocca designed in 1970 by Studio65, influenced by the creative director of Moschino, Jeremy Scott.
Together with the red-lipped seat, Moschino and Gufram have also transformed the Moschino Biker bag into a cabinet and the Moschino high heels into a combo of an ottoman and three levels of glass shelves.
On the collection, Jeremy says, "With this cooperation, it seems to me that we are making that fantasy that the imaginative Moschino has always inspired in me come to life."
The "Moschino kisses Gufram" capsule collection of furnishings will be making at the Moschino Flagship Store (Via Sant’Andrea 25, Milan) from 4th April to 9th April 2017, in conjunction with Milan Design Week 2017.
