PUMA Speedcat is back with two archive-inspired colorways
Two new colourways - light blue and oat coffee - has arrived to get us excited to hit the streets.
PUMA’s Speedcat Archive is back, hitting the streets in two new archive-inspired colourways that blend heritage with contemporary flair. The iconic Speedcat, a hallmark of low-profile sneaker design, gets a 2024 refresh, adding a nostalgic yet modern twist to this motorsport-inspired silhouette. The latest collection introduces a luxe feel through its ultra-suede upper, complete with a leather Formstrip and an embroidered logo that elevates the sneaker’s vintage aesthetic.
In light blue and oat coffee, these new shades give the Speedcat a rich, textural depth, while maintaining PUMA’s signature sleek profile and timeless elements—like the stitched Cat logo on the toe and rubber tooling at the heel. Sustainability meets style as PUMA prioritises eco-friendly design with suede sourced from the Leather Working Group.
Comfort remains at the forefront, with a double canvas Strobel insole and an EVA-injected midsole for added cushioning. Softform+ technology in the footbed provides extra support, while the rubber heel ensures a lightweight, durable feel.
The Speedcat’s rebirth is captured in a bold campaign by NAKED Copenhagen, set against the raw backdrop of the badlands. The 25-year-old sneaker, fused with motorsport’s high-octane energy, serves as a symbol of fearless self-expression. Stylist Sierra Rena takes center stage as the muse, embodying the rebellious, independent spirit that defines this bold release.
The PUMA Speedcat Archive will be available at a retail price of RM549 from 12 October 2024 onwards at PUMA.com and selected retailers such as ATMOS KL.
