<p style="text-align: left;">Alessandro Michele, appointed creative director of Valentino in the spring of 2024, unveiled his first Haute Couture collection for the fashion house with the Spring/Summer 2025 show, titled Vertigineux.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The event highlighted his ability to intertwine historical silhouettes and contemporary elements in a refined pastiche with a cinematic flavour, amplified by a high-impact retro-futuristic setting. When the curtain rises, the models advance on a runway shrouded in darkness, lit only by a huge sliding luminous sign, which projects hypnotic flashes.</p>

The list does not destroy culture, it creates it." - Alessandro Michele builds a collection in which the releases are wunderkammers on fabric, where, in a list overflowing with references and different aesthetics, there is room for the Infantas of Spain by Velazquez and the Wrestling masks, the brocades and the tapestries, the polka dots and rivers of chiffon.</p>
