A week in the life of a L'Officiel editor through the lens of vivo V29

Working in the media industry can be a daunting task as an editor, where we have to zip across town for events and parties to capture the latest happenings in town.
With such an immense schedule, a trusty smartphone with excellent camera functions is indispensable and I had the opportunity to take the latest vivo V29 smartphone through a week in my life to see how amazing this phone can be.

Capturing Detailed Product Shots with Godiva and Le Labo
The first day was off to a great start, where I headed over to Suria KLCC to visit Godiva to check out its latest collection of confectionaries for the festivities. Capturing product shots cannot be easier with the vivo V29 camera. Whether it is a flat lay or a close-up shot under low light settings, vivo V29 did an impeccable job capturing all the details of the products. Post Godiva, I also dropped by Le Labo Fragrances to test out the new Lavande 31 fragrance.
Did you know that Godiva also collaborated with the brand for the initial launch of vivo V29 to create a special purple-coloured ice-cream?
Excellent Low-Light Photography at That Cover Girl's Premiere
Next stop, an important assignment was on the pipeline, where I headed over to the press conference for That Cover Girl, the inaugural Amazon Original series from Malaysia, starring Siti Saleha, Hisyam Hamid, Alicia Amin and Aiman Hakim Ridza.
I got the opportunity to sit down with the lead cast for roundtable interviews and, of course, stunning photographs were needed for me to showcase the actors and actresses in the best light for their interview features. Even as I snapped away during the interview where the stars were constantly moving as they talked about their latest production, the vivo V29 smartphone did not disappoint with its camera, where it could sense and auto-adjust the images taken to enhance the details of each shot.
With the Aura Light 2.0 on the vivo V29, it provided 360-degree even lighting that helped to eliminate dark shadows on the subjects, while giving them a soft and flattering glow (which you can see more in the next assignment)
Excellent Fashion Portraits at Emporio Armani and Montblanc
The best experience I've had with the vivo V29 smartphone was during the recent fashion parties for Emporio Armani, Versace and Montblanc at Pavilion KL, where I had to capture the many celebrities in attendance including the celebrated Thai actor and model Nani Hirunkit, who was the leading star at Emporio Armani.
Using the Aura Light Portrait 2.0, the result was breathtaking where vivo V29's camera auto-adjusted itself based on the current light condition in the space to diminish any excess redness in warm lighting, brighten up faces of the subjects in cool lighting and maximise the vibrancy of the photos in neon-light settings. It is like bringing your very own professional studio light to the party.
On top of all that, the enhanced lens of the vivo V29 allows more light intake and faster focusing when taking photos in a low-light environment, which allows movement shots to be captured without the unnecessary blurriness we often dread before.

Onto the last, I have to talk about the selfie mode on the vivo V29 because it is simply amazing! Improved and enhanced for our selfie pleasures, the vivo V29 now has a 92-degree field of view that allows more subjects to fit into one frame and thanks to its latest innovation, the camera allows superb distortion control to ensure everything captured is true to life.
Now the vivo V29 also boasts a 50MP lens that can go down to F/2.0 for its front camera, which makes every shot taken crystal clear and as good as any photographs taken with its main back camera. Of course, that staple vivo V29 glow is evident for the front camera mode as well.

Wrapping up the week with vivo, I think we can all agree that when it comes to the pursuit for top-notch photography, the vivo V29 smartphone is excelling in its game.
