We've heard rumours about a Beyoncé documentary by Netflix for a while now and nothing was confirmed until now as the media company drops the trailer for "Homecoming", a documentary of the legendary Queen Bey.

Set to drop on Monday, 17th April 2019 at 3 AM EST (Malaysia time, 3 PM on Tuesday, 20th April), Homecoming is an exclusive documentary that shares the behind-the-scenes story of Beyoncé and her iconic Coachella performance in 2018, now crowned as #BEYCHELLA.

The iconic performance made headlines everywhere because the legend herself took it upon her own hands to pay tribute to the Black experience in America while honouring Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in America as she stands as the first black woman to headline Coachella.

And ahead of the debut of Homecoming, Netflix has released a trailer for the film that features a voiceover of Maya Angelou (taken from her 2013 interview on George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight) with snapshots of Beyoncé's performance at Coachella with the likes of Jay-Z, Destiny's Child and more.
