G-Dragon announces new album "Übermensch" to kickstart 2025 world tour
The King is back and we are absolutely ready for it!
2025 is turning to be a great year for 2nd generation K-Pop YG Family stans, with multiple comebacks and activities from the OG groups including 2NE1 and Big Bang.
The latest to get us hyped up is none other than G-Dragon himself, who, after months of speculation, has officially announced the launch date for his new solo album and a world tour.
Both titled "Übermensch", the solo album is set to drop on 25th February 2025, which marks GD's third album and his first full-length album in over a decade since "COUP D'ETAT".
While official dates have yet to be announced, G-Dragon has confirmed his 2025 world tour to be happening. The world tour is said to kickstart in Seoul with a 2-day performance in late March before jetting off globally.
Last year, Billboard confirmed the news that Tencent Music Entertainment Group, in partnership with Galaxy Corporation, will be the proprietary tour partner for G-Dragon’s concerts across various markets, including most of Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand.
Aside from the album and world tour, G-Dragon is also geared up to launch his new musical variety TV show titled "Good Day" on 16th February 2025, available on Disney Plus, which will follow the artist's journey to create the “song of the year” in collaboration with various guest stars.
Good Day's guest list will include prolific Korean stars including Kim Soo-hyun, Jung Hae-in, Kim Go-eun, AESPA, SEVENTEEN’s BSS, DAY6, and fellow BIGBANG members Taeyang and Daesung.
