A festival of ideas, The Cooler Lumpur Festival is returning with its fifth edition at Publika, Solaris Dutamas this coming August.

And like every year before this, Cooler Lumpur Festival aims to provide a new perspective to its audience by exploring the social, political, technological, and cultural ideas of our present times and tell the story of our collective futures.

Set to happen between 17th to 20th August 2017, this festival adopts specific themes each year and this year, it is themed "Notes From The Future".

For 2017,  The Cooler Lumpur Festival will be collaborating with creative media shop PopDigital, Green Future Malaysia by the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology & Water for EXPO 2017, Astro, and British Council Malaysia to provide a long list of interactive line-ups.

And you’ll also have a chance to be able to meet and exchange ideas with some outstanding international speakers such as Eva Horn (Austria), Leif Randt (Germany), Olivia Sudjic (UK), Cara Ellison (UK), and Jeff Stein (US).

Not to mention, there will also be a number of local movers and shakers such as Hanna Alkaf, Bernice Chauly, Uthaya Sankar SB, Mahvesh Murad and Jian Goh, who are making an appearance at the festival.

Festival highlights include The White Mask | Visual Art Exhibition, The Food Fringe Festival, Cooler Lumpur Junior and Journalism Campus.
