Anatomy: L’Eau Bleue by Miu Miu
Perfumer Daniela Andrier captured a specific moment, namely the arrival of spring, and translated it into the L’Eau Bleue scent. The sensation is one that is slight and delicate, carried on a wisp of air.
It could touch you at any given moment; “in bed with the window open to the dawn air, speeding along a country highway with the sun on your face, walking on a late-night city street after a heavy rain, or barefoot in the too-cool morning grass of a damp garden.”
The spring awakening smells of lush owers. Lily of the valley opens the scent, which is tamped down by white flowers, wild rose, morning dew and green notes.
Then, it warms up to the richness of earth, represented by Akigalawood. The entire sensorial experience boils down to the richness of nature, from the florals to the greens to the earthiness.
As its name suggests, the L’Eau Bleue is housed in a transparent light blue glass, shaped in the brand’s signature matelassé flacon.
Topped with a yellow pastel disk reminiscent of the Miu Miu girl, the bottle itself is a mélange of retro girly chic in the height of spring.
The L'Eau Bleue by Miu Miu fragrance is now available at all major retailers, Miu Miu boutiques and also Sephora stores.
