Isabel Marant launches debut makeup collection with L’Oréal Paris
Whether Maria Grazia Chiuri’s evocations of the western frontier at Dior, or Coach’s little-house-on-the-prairie boho dresses and denim (which showed last week), the American West has been serving as a strong source of inspiration for the world’s fashion set.
However, as of today, it looks like beauty’s invited to the rodeo, too: Isabel Marant, favoured designer for influencers and Parisiennes alike, has finally released her much buzzed about makeup line, and she’s also looking westward to inspire her clothes and beauty products alike.
As reported by The Cut, Marant remarks that there’s something “audaciously chic” about cowboys and the deserts they roam through.
So, her brand-new collaboration with L’Oréal Paris combines western influences with her own hometown of Paris. Lipsticks with names like Bastille Whistle and Belleville Rodeo are central to the collection, as well as a clear brow and lash gel for that undone, minimally-defined, I-woke-up-like-this Parisian approach to beauty.
Other great gets from the collection include an eyeshadow palette that features two shades of black, a multi-use lip and cheek tint, and an all-purpose cream highlighter.
The best part is the collection ranges from US$12 – US$16, so no need to break the bank on the no-fuss essentials. Tres chic!
