The world is crazy for the Morphe x Jeffree Star makeup collaboration
The beauty world is officially going berserk right now because Jeffree Star has just dropped the announcement of his new makeup collaboration with Morphe.
A makeup mogul with over 20 million followers on Instagram and YouTube, Jeffree Star is most known for his namesake cosmetics label "Jeffree Star Cosmetics" and this new project with Morphe marks his first ever collaboration outside of his own label.
In his unveiling video, Jeffree did say that, "This is me as an individual. This has nothing to do with Jeffree Star Cosmetics and as you all know my brand is sold at every Morphe store."
And without further ado, let us get right into it! The Morphe x Jeffree Star collaboration is one that focuses solely on makeup sponges and brushes, which come with no surprise since Morphe is fire and foremost a makeup brush manufacturer.
For this collaboration, Jeffree has created seven custom face and eye brushes, along with three sponges – all in his favourite shade of pink and designed to look like pink diamonds, pink icicles, diamonds, and stilettos.
For the brushes, the seven include a Size Queen Brush, a Point-Blank Precision Brush, an Iconic Contour Brush a Fly High Brush, a Crease Kween Brush, a Rule Blender Brush and a Double Trouble Brush.
While you can buy each brush by itself (the seven would add up to US$84), Jeffree has also prepared a special gift set for you where it comes with all seven brushes inside the bright pink Starstruck Bag (at just US$49!).
And this begs the question, who would even think of buying them individually?
As for the sponges, the trio comes in a set that costs US$16 and based on what we know of Jeffree, he is rather particular with his sponges. So we know for sure that his trio babies will work wonders!
