Louis Vuitton: The Power of Seven

This marks this first time in 90 years that Louis Vuitton has gone into the world of perfumery.

Fashion house Louis Vuitton has not launched a fragrance in over 90 years, so it’s only understandable that when they do this year, they launch not only one but seven.

Created by master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, who spent months travelling the five continents in search of inspiration, this new series of Louis Vuitton perfume are unlike any other.

It is, as Louis Vuitton described, "an invitation to travel, a prologue to an imminent departure."

So it is only fitting that the series is described, “a journey of emotions”, where Jacques spent over four years to complete all seven scents.

With Louis Vuitton, there are unmistakable flourishes of leather nuances infused to the fragrance, which is, of course, a made-to-measure infusion inspired by Louis Vuitton’s various leather workshops.

Rose des Vents, Turbulences, Dans la Peau, Apogée, Contre Moi, Matière Noire, and Mille Feux, each of these scents is carefully curated and created with a particular emotion in mind.

Truly it is as Louis Vuitton describes, "an invitation to travel, a prologue to an imminent departure."
