Chanel launches Malaysia's e-commerce with the Chanel Factory 5 collection
Chanel N°5 turns 100 years old this year; and to say it is one of the most iconic scents ever is not an understatement. After a century of continuously reinventing itself and defining culture, Chanel N°5 returns to its essence of breaking free by bringing back the earliest packaging design with the new Chanel Factory 5 collection.
And right now, Chanel has officially debuted its very own e-commerce platform for Malaysia fans and welcomes the Chanel Factory 5 collection as one of the star collections for sale on the website from 20th September 2021 onwards.
“As N°5 celebrates its 100th anniversary, Chanel Factory 5 also reminds us that youth is above all a state of mind: daring to take a step to the side, to have the freedom to be oneself in spite of convention, not to take oneself seriously, to be light without being frivolous,” said Thomas du Pré de Saint Maur, Chanel’s Head of Global Creative Resources Fragrance and Beauty, “To have the audacity to prefer the youth of imagination to the oldness of habit.”
What comes along with the limited-edition capsule consist of 17 products from the N°5 line is the Chanel Factory pop-up. Inspired by the N°5 production line, these pop-ups are imagined as the destinations where the century’s most iconic fragrance meets the future. Chanel's black and white design code meets the bright colours of pop culture where the N°5 products forgo their usual bottles and transform into a line-up of everyday life objects.
The experience allows people – no matter if they’re a N°5 devotee or someone looking for a new scent – to rediscover the message of the most iconic fragrance of the century through a series of playful, offbeat demonstrations.
