Digital Cover #13: Anna Jobling returns with HUAWEI WATCH FIT 3

We all know and love her for her incredible acting, beauty and charisma. Anna Jobling is an unstoppable force within the Malaysian entertainment industry that has since ventured out of the country for more exciting new projects and roles.

A person who never stops in her tracks and constantly strives to achieve, Anna is also breaking into the Indonesian film industry as she is set to star in a major production there. Between her busy schedule, she has also worked with Huawei to launch the new HUAWEI WATCH FIT 3, an innovation that is all the buzz in the smartwatch scene right now.

We also seized our chance to once again work with Anna for a brand new digital cover, where she flaunts the latest HUAWEI WATCH FIT 3 and shares her love for the smartwatch, her latest projects and even a message to her future self.

You're back on our cover again this year! How have you been since our last digital cover shoot?

It’s such an honour for you to want me to be back on your cover again, even though it hasn’t been that long since our last shoot! It’s always been a great experience on set with everyone. 

Yes, I’ve been travelling a lot for work because I’m currently doing a film for an Indonesian production. It’s been crazy but I love it.

So, what projects are you working on right now that you can share with us? We know that you've been frequenting Indonesia lately for filming.

As I mentioned earlier, I am working on an Indonesian film right now and I was in Jakarta for a few weeks for script reading before flying to Seoul, South Korea for two weeks to film the project. Now, back to Jakarta again to film the rest of it.

The film is slotted to come out this year and that’s all I can share with you right now. After this project, I will be back in Malaysia for a drama production if everything goes according to plan (fingers crossed!).

As someone who is constantly on the go, how does the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 3 help you go through your day-to-day life and work?

One of the best features that I use a lot is the function that tracks my sleep pattern and my stress level. It will even remind me when I need to take a break and stretch in between my work.

I feel that this particular feature is very important because my schedule tends to be very busy and I will forget that sometimes I just need to take a deep breath.

Also, keeping track of my steps to see if I am doing enough exercise every day is great!

What's on your bucket list this year that you want to achieve but haven't managed yet?

A bucket list of mine will probably be to shoot a Malaysian film because I’ve always been focused on TV series and dramas locally. I’ve done a few so far in Indonesia recently, so I feel that it is time for me to join a Malaysian production.

I’ve done plenty of “serious” roles, so I think a role in a comedy would be interesting because it is something that I have not done yet.

Lastly, if you can send a message to your future self, what do you want to say?

First of all, I am very proud of you and secondly, I hope you’re still not taking what people say on the Internet too personally because they don’t know who you are on a personal level. What matters most are the people around you who support you and love you.

Also, do what’s best for you, your mental health and your happiness; and listen to your body and try to get more sleep. You need to fix your sleeping schedule (laughs).
