Wonder what officewear will look like in the future? Just look to BOSS Autumn/Winter 2023 show and you’ll get an idea. Held in Milan’s Allianz MiCo conference centre, the venue was transformed into the BOSS Techtopia, dubbed as “an ephemeral workplace and oasis of tranquility and ergonomic design”. Take a step into the show space and you’ll first be greeted by Sophia, a social humanoid robot that was called the original robot citizen. Inside, six themed rooms were situated within the runway, including the HarmoniTech space featuring a meditating yogi; the Brainstorm Room featuring “employees” wearing light-therapy headphones and more.

Brand ambassador, South Korean actor Lee Min-ho, kicked off the show as the surprise opening act. Once he took a seat, It-model Gigi Hadid walked the show in a grey pinstriped skirt-suit with a deep V-neck top and a matching necktie, setting the tone for the rest of the collection. Paying tribute to the brand’s tailoring heritage, the line-up, themed “CorpCore”, reinvents the traditional work attire. Classic staples are updated with performance fabrics, interesting zip placements and given a deconstructed finish.

Zoom in on the accessories and you’ll notice the fun touches that were creatively incorporated throughout the collection, as paper clips and pens accent the neckties and the numerical locks that are commonly found on briefcases adorn bags, belts and shoes.
