Along the edge of the Left Bank of the Seine River, Chloé's newest Creative Director Gabriela Hearst hosted her first runway show with an audience for the fashion house with her Spring/Summer 2022 collection.

As a designer, Hearst has always been known for her steadfast dedication to sustainability and earthy aesthetic. In her new role, she continues to imbue the brand's latest creations with her environmentally conscious values.

However, unlike her namesake brand, Hearst's designs for Chloé also celebrate some of the Maison's signature codes.

The collection features classic silhouettes such as tailored suits, bodycon maxi dresses, and slim-cut faux leather coats. Several ensembles are accented with fringe accoutrements, giving them a fluidity that flows easily against the river's breeze. The overall collection has a casual elegance that combines the chic austerity of French fashion with American modernity. The result is a colorfully neutral series of garments that seamlessly blend with the sunny Parisian backdrop.
