Youthful air filling around at Hermès Fall Winter 2022/23 runway
For the coldest season of the year, Hermès bets on a fresh and light collection, totally different from its old collections at PFW.
In the collections of the last two summers of Hermès, the creative director of the brand, Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski, had already been working on a silhouette that showed more of the body, with miniskirts and geometric necklines. Winter, on the other hand, is always more closed. No longer.
The collection presented this week in Paris, brings fresh and youthful air to the coldest season, in an exercise of silhouette modernization within the brand's codes. A nod to younger customers, including the minis and shorts, were worn with the pretty flat boots inspired by ballet shoes over thick socks, which help elongate the silhouette.
Also interesting are the overlays and the construction joining leather and fine knitting on the skirts and the knitted shirts with different weights forming stripes. It is the result of the growth of a feminine look at femininity, from the point of view of showing the body within the context of a classic brand like Hermès.
