LIVE: Dior Cruise 2020 in Marrakech
Set to take place in Marrakech, The Dior Cruise 2020 show will be live down below at 3 AM on 30th April 2019 (Malaysia time).
THE DIOR COMMON GROUND
For this special show, Dior will also introduce the concept of “Dior Common Ground”.
This season’s leitmotiv is defined as “Opinions or interests shared by each of two or more parties” (Oxford Dictionary). This is to emphasise that the Dior Cruise 2020 collection is not an African collection.
It is a collection aiming to highlight similarities between cultures, without amalgamating them. Instead, Dior wishes to demonstrate that despite differences, we share common values and somehow common traditions.
This also resonates to the choice of location – Marrakech –, where the city is the crossroads between the Mediterranean, Europe and Africa, a melting pot of cultures.
