At the neoclassical Neues Museum in Berlin, Max Mara presents its Resort 2020 collection, an anthem from the Italian house to the renaissance of Berlin, in time for the 30th anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall.
In the name and style of David Bowie and Marlene Dietrich – the heroes that recode the gender identity of a suit –, creative director Ian Griffiths annotates Max Mara's idea of 'empowering clothing' for Resort 2020.
The collection showcases a parade of sharp-shouldered suits, wide legged hems and volumed coats, clean and edged tailorings in which she feels comfortable and at the same time mirrors her confidence.
