Onitsuka Tiger presents Spring/Summer 2022 film “MILAN-TOKYO”

For Spring/Summer 2022, Onitsuka Tiger and creative director Andrea Pompilio dreams up a trip from Milan to home city Tokyo. In a seven-minute short film directed by Hideto Hotta, the models embark on a nocturnal wander, walking down the unexpectedly vacant streets and alleys of Tokyo while the neon lights belonging to tech and gadget shops, café and bar as well as taxi stations lit up their runway.

Onitsuka Tiger Spring/Summer 2022 collection remains deeply rooted in its sport heritage. A selection of marine-inspired pieces are reimagined for the modern explorer’s wardrobe, taking one from city subway to shore in a heartbeat.

Animal and geometric prints are interplayed with contrasting colours for a bold accent; tiger print takes center stage in the collection in honour of the coming year of tiger, the emblem of Onitsuka Tiger and expression of strength and bravery. The collection also introduces two never-seen-before sneaker models featuring printed sole and shoe upper that mirrors a characteristics feline coat.
