A journey to Wonderland with the 2018 Pirelli Calendar
We have come to an age where hardly any of us owns a physical calendar (thanks, smartphones and Google Calendar!), there is still one that we would die for every single year – the annual Pirelli calendar.
A provocative set of prints that constantly blows our minds off, this coming 2018 will see an "Alice in the Wonderland" themed shoot by photographer Tim Walker, which will also feature an all-black cast of musicians, actors and personalities.
Icons like Sean Combs, RuPaul, Whoopi Goldberg and Naomi Campbell among others gathered for the shoot that takes us on a trippy trip down the rabbit hole.
Styled by Edward Enninful (British Vogue's new editor-in-chief), the 2018 Pirelli calendar is one that strikes with controversy, pride and glamour.
Here, we have here a sneak peek behind-the-scenes shot by Alessandro Scotti that will take us on a quick psychedelic tour into Wonderland.
For one, our favourite drag superstar RuPaul is dressed as the Queen of Hearts, while Lupita Nyong'o plays the adorable dormouse.
Then there's also Whoopi Goldberg who plays the Royal Duchess, paired with Thando Hopa, the Princess of Hearts. And how can we not mention Naomi Campbell who paired up with Sean Combs as the Royal Beheaders?
Just the sneak peek alone has us going off with our heads. Check the behind-the-scenes-images below:
