Prada launched a capsule collection to celebrate the year of the Snake
Joining the festive atmosphere at the end of the year, Prada launched a capsule collection through the campaign "We, The Snake" with the zodiac symbol of 2025: The Snake.
A perfect collaboration with photographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch, under the creative direction of Ferdinando Verderi, the Prada “We, The Snake” campaign features brand ambassadors Jia Ling, Li Xian, Ma Long, Ma Yili and Yang Shuyu; art historian Wu Hung; artists Peng Wei and Zhang Enli; architect Rossana Hu, and models Du Juan, Ju Xiaowen and Zhao Lei forming a snake pattern.
Prada shares that the curves of the spirals symbolize the meaning of community, expressed as winding lines representing different fields, they interact, share and help each other.
This collection's ready-to-wear, accessories and clothing are designed in a minimalist style with dark colours such as grey, black, blue, beige, etc. Pleated skirts combined with outerwear, soft leather bags with green accents exclusively for men will be the perfect accessories when combined with jackets, blazers or straight-leg pants, etc. In addition, the logo has been added with a new detail: a long snake with a head and tail winding around the logo.
Snakes are also the “main character” in Prada’s new podcast “Speaking of the Snake” edited and hosted by Violet Wang to accompany the campaign, which explores the role of snakes in different contexts such as fashion and art.
