Hedi Slimane came in with a bang when he debuted his Spring 2019 collection for <a href="http://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/fashion/hedi-slimane-s-first-celine-flagship-store-new-york">C</a><a href="http://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/fashion/hedi-slimane-s-first-celine-flagship-store-new-york">eline</a>.

However, what&rsquo;s making noise now, is the new Celine collaboration with a fellow music aficionado, American/Swiss artist Christian Marclay, which resulted in a&nbsp;loud, capsule collection inspired by vintage comic books.

Record executive and critic, Tim Carr described Marclay&#39;s&nbsp;work as one that is &ldquo;the art of unintended sound.&quot; Cutting up different types of vinyl and restitching them into completely new records, Marclay&rsquo;s practice is based on the manipulation of sound.

The Celine x Christian Marclay collection certainly doesn&rsquo;t whisper. It screams with Marclay&rsquo;s onomatopoeic collages, and artwork appearing on denim jackets, tee shirts, and bags to name a handful of what has been created. Our favourite is the embellished kimono.
