For his return to Couture Fashion Week, Azzedine Alaïa makes a stunning show that saw the collaboration with Salvatore Ferragamo.

After a 6-year hiatus, Azzedine Alaïa presents his Autumn Winter Haute Couture 2017 show in Paris and it is definitely worth the wait.

For this show, Alaïa specially requested one of Salvatore Ferragamo's archived designs, the Indiana boots, to be paired with his gowns at the show.

The Indiana boot, created by Salvatore Ferragamo in 1925, is a very particular pump with an upper that covers the entire foot and an early precursor to the well-known pump boot.

Made with stretched cotton, the first of its kind, the first Ferragamo Indiana boots were dedicated to the refined tastes of famous divas in the mid-Twentiesincluding Hollywood star Lola Todd.

On the collaboration, Alaïa says, "I have always been a longtime admirer of Salvatore Ferragamo and his work, constantly ahead of his time and inspiration to all."

Inventive and innovative, this renowned pair of soles has made its return to the future with a timeless power of expression deriving from the house of Ferragamo.

From what we saw on the runway, they are definitely set to be fashion's favourites this coming season!
