Burberry Animal Kingdom pop-up is now in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur
In celebration of the house’s signature bags and accessories, Burberry presents a series of worldwide pop-ups themed Animal Kingdom and one of the cities chosen to house the pop-up is Kuala Lumpur where it finds itself opened now in Pavilion KL Shopping Mall.
Animal and wildlife have been the significant elements of Burberry’s heritage, where founder Thomas Burberry chose an emblem of a knight on a horse to embody the house’s identity and its equestrian legacy. Whilst for his family crest, he went for the mythical creature unicorn.
Ever since Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci joined the house, the designer has reinterpreted Burberry’s animal kingdom code – evident in his runway collections and campaigns including the special Pocket Bag campaign with Bella Hadid.
In the same vein as Burberry’s latest shows, the Animal Kingdom pop-ups are also committed to carbon neutrality with the support of Wildlife Works, whose REDD+ project devotes to protect and restore threatened animal habitats.
